Good Friday is a very special day for Christians. It is the day that commemorates when our Savior died on the Old Rugged Cross for my sins and yours. I like to keep crosses of all kinds around me to remind of His ultimate sacrifice for me. Today my favorite things are all crosses. Most of mine didn’t cost very much but each is special to me. I look for them on trips and in gift shops and craft fairs. I pray that this Easter you too have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

The emblem of suffering and shame.
Well I love that old cross, Where the dearest and best
For a world of lost sinners was slain.
So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross
Till my trophies at last I lay down
I will cling to the old rugged cross
And exchange it someday for a crown.
